Mr. Roberts has been teaching at Milton-Union Schools since 2014. His mission is to create a positive music making experience for every student. The band program has seen growth and success under his leadership. The marching band has received the highest rating possible at OMEA State Finals, been a top five finalist in MidStates, and a Bands of America Grand National Semi Finalist.

Mr. Roberts is the chair for the OMEA District XI Solo and Ensemble Adjudicated Event since 2016. Over 1000 students from Miami, Shelby, Champagne, Logan, and Darke Counties participate in this event at Milton-Union. All of the M-U high school instrumental students participate in this event each year.

Prior to Milton-Union, Mr. Roberts taught for seven years at New Lebanon Local Schools. 

​

Mr. Roberts received his Bachelor's in Music Education from The Ohio State University in 2005. He was then one of two students selected for the highly competitive program to pursue the degree of Master of Music in Wind Band Conducting, also at OSU.

Mr. Roberts lives in Troy with his wife, Christina and his three children: Eliana, Thomas, and Westley.
