7th Grade Band is the intermediate Middle School Band. These students now know the basics and can begin to refine their art. Students begin to learn more advanced techniques and musical concepts.

 

The 7th Grade Band performs at three concerts over the course of the year. Each of these concerts involve band members of all grade levels. Each concert experience is a different format.

As a 7th Grade Band member, students have the opportunity to show their musicianship at the Middle School Solo and Ensemble event.  7th and 8th grade students from a 5 county area perform for a judge. They receive comments and a rating based on that performance. This is an opportunity for individuals and small groups to let their hard work shine.
